Akriva Type 56 GBBR

The AKRIVA Type 56 is a full-steel gas blowback rifle featuring a stamped steel receiver, real wood furniture and a folding spike-style bayonet. Developed as part of AKRIVA's Type 56 GBB series, the rifle reproduces the fixed-stock configuration with Chinese-pattern external details and a dedicated gas blowback operating system.

The rifle's construction centres around a stamped and riveted steel receiver, with steel front and rear trunnions, a steel receiver cover and a steel bolt carrier assembly. The internal mechanism incorporates a two-stage recoil spring arrangement and steel fire-control components, with semi-automatic and fully automatic firing modes.

The receiver features Chinese-pattern markings, a traditional right-side selector lever and charging handle, while the external barrel assembly includes the enclosed front sight hood and tangent-style rear sight. A folding spike-style dummy bayonet is mounted beneath the barrel, retaining the distinctive appearance of the fixed-stock Type 56.

The furniture consists of a fixed wooden buttstock, wooden pistol grip and matching upper and lower handguards. Combined with the steel receiver and barrel assembly, the rifle has a manufacturer-specified weight of approximately 3.7 kg and an overall length of 1,100 mm.

Internal Components and Features

The AKRIVA Type 56 uses a dedicated gas blowback mechanism with a reciprocating steel bolt carrier and two-stage recoil spring assembly. The fire-control group incorporates steel components, with the external selector providing safe, semi-automatic and fully automatic positions.

An adjustable hop-up system is fitted, with a 405 mm inner barrel. The rifle uses AKRIVA-pattern detachable magazines, with gas and CO₂ variants available.
